Andy Hirmez
Chief Executive Officer
Andy Hirmez, a San Diego native, began his entrepreneurial journey at the age of five, helping in his family’s grocery store. At 21, he acquired his first convenience store and has since built a thriving business portfolio. Today, Andy owns and operates more than 40 businesses, employing over 400 individuals across various sectors.
In addition to his business ventures, Andy is an avid golfer with a 5.9 handicap index at The Grand Golf Club. He is a dedicated family man, married with two children.
Mark Maher
Store Purchasing Manager
Mark Maher brings over 15 years of experience in the retail and restaurant industries, having held a variety of roles that sharpened his expertise in operations and procurement. Since joining Stars & Stripes in 2020, Mark has played a critical role in building strong supplier relationships and ensuring each store location is consistently stocked with high-performing, fast-selling products.
Kevin Qasawadish
Chief Operations Officer
Kevin Qasawadish brings decades of hands-on experience in retail and hospitality operations. He began working in his family’s retail store at just seven years old and acquired his first liquor mart and pizza restaurant by the age of 23. Since joining Stars & Stripes in 2014, Kevin has been instrumental in growing the company from a single location to 12 locations. In addition to his operational leadership, he is an equity partner in five Stars & Stripes locations. Kevin is married and a proud father of three children.
